Nassau Human Society

Christen volunteers with the Nassau Humane Society because she is a huge dog lover. Today there was an adoption event at PetCo that she was supposed to work but she had customers come into town last minute to look at houses so she asked if I would fill in for her once she had to leave. I had a lot of fun! The only trouble was I almost brought another dog home to Ryan and Mack!! I sure am my mother's daughter!! Bill, any advice for Ryan?? ;)

This is Ernie and he is the one I wanted to bring home with me! He was sooo sweet! They think he is around 4-5 months old and maybe a beagle mix or basset hound mix.

This is Jasmine. She was sweet to us but not very friendly to other dogs! She's a blue heeler/ahepard mix.

This is Diva. She is sweet and very very active. She's a boxer mix and two different families filled out paperwork to try to adopt her. Hopefully one of the families will work out!

Here are some kitties. They didn't have names. The two in the picture above just slept and groomed each other the whole time and the two in the picture below were wild! They were constantly moving around and swatting at stuff around their cage.
