Feel That Wind Through Your Fur

Like usual, we took Mack to the beach again this weekend. He is just now getting brave enough to stick his head out the window of the car. Once he figured it out he loved it!

And finally, all of that swimming sure wears a boy out! After his bath he passed right out and was snoring SO loudly!! 

Treasures From Irene

Hurricane Irene ended up missing us but as it passed by it sure stirred up the ocean. We went to the beach today and it was covered with huge shells. There were hundreds of them! Here is a picture of the ones we found and brought home.

I love this video! Ryan was playing with Mack and talking to him in such a silly/creepy voice and I just had to record it! The best part was that Ryan didn't know I was recording! Haha!!

Nassau Human Society

Christen volunteers with the Nassau Humane Society because she is a huge dog lover. Today there was an adoption event at PetCo that she was supposed to work but she had customers come into town last minute to look at houses so she asked if I would fill in for her once she had to leave. I had a lot of fun! The only trouble was I almost brought another dog home to Ryan and Mack!! I sure am my mother's daughter!! Bill, any advice for Ryan?? ;)

This is Ernie and he is the one I wanted to bring home with me! He was sooo sweet! They think he is around 4-5 months old and maybe a beagle mix or basset hound mix.

This is Jasmine. She was sweet to us but not very friendly to other dogs! She's a blue heeler/ahepard mix.

This is Diva. She is sweet and very very active. She's a boxer mix and two different families filled out paperwork to try to adopt her. Hopefully one of the families will work out!

Here are some kitties. They didn't have names. The two in the picture above just slept and groomed each other the whole time and the two in the picture below were wild! They were constantly moving around and swatting at stuff around their cage.

Harry Potter Dog

Ryan and I got the Harry Potter movies and last night we started our HP marathon.  Mack decided to watch along with us. He was especially interested in the screaming plants shown in the second HP movie. Haha!

The Visitor

We have enjoyed thunderstorms the past three nights and along with the rain came a visitor.

The lighting wasn't very good. This frog is more of a neon green color. He was kind of spooky to me!

New Furniture!!

Our house is one step closer to completion! Ryan and I purchased our dining room table and entertainment center last week.  Our house looks even better now and we love it!

Dog Days of Summer

Ryan and I took Mack to the beach again last Saturday and boy, did he have a big time! He actually got in the water and played around this time. It was adorable but he was a big mess!!
