Furchild Turns 1!!

My little love muffin turned one on Monday, May 21 as well! He definitely got spoiled. Well... he's always spoiled! Haha! Here are some pictures from his big day.

Happy First Anniversary!

Ryan and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on Monday, May 21. We went down to Jacksonville to eat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Oh boy was it tasty!! Here are some pictures :)

These are the cupcakes I picked up for us from the cupcakery in place of our wedding cake topper. So so so amazing! We had strawberry, wedding cake, blueberry breeze with cream cheese icing, and a reese's peanut better chocolate cupcake. Mmm!!

Homemade Pretzels!

I found a great recipe on Pinterest for these homemade German pretzels.  They sounded so good that I started craving them so I decided to give them a shot tonight.  They turned out so good!! It was a lengthy process.  It took about 3 hours from start to finish but that includes time for the dough to rise two different times.  Here are some pictures from throughout the process and the recipe I used!

45 minutes later after the dough was left to rise!

Man down!! 

Rolled out, twisted, set to rise again for 25 minutes, and ready to be dunked in a simmering baking soda/water mixture

This was taken after I dipped them in the simmering baking soda/water combo, drained them, brushed them with an egg wash, and then sprinkled salt on them

 

Ta da!! Perfectly golden brown and deeelish!!

I dipped mine in mustard and ranch :)

Here's my latest Pinterest find! Single serving chocolate chip cookie in a cup! Then ice cream on top :)
