Mom, Ryan decided to place Mr. Boiley on the stove right under the microwave so he would never forget not to boil an egg in the microwave without it!! Haha!!

Finishing Touches
Well, everything is officially unpacked and settled in. The study is still a disaster since we have no desks yet but the rest of the house is coming together. Here are the final pictures of our progress.

RYAN ARRIVES!!!!
The love of my life is home!! These pictures were taken on the beach of a state park which overlooks the pier where the subs enter to go back to the base. I met up with some of the other USS Wyoming officers' wives to watch our husbands return :) The whole experience was overwhelming. It gave me chills to see this huge submarine surfacing, knowing Ryan was on it. I felt so proud of Ryan and of our country. What an amazing, powerful experience!
US Coast Guard securing the area
US Coast Guard getting ready to run off a fishing boat that entered the pier (notice the man with the machine gun on the front of the boat). They mean business!!
The sub has surfaced at this point but is still pretty far away. You can see the two big escort boats on either side of the sub and the cross of the sub in the middle.
Getting closer!!
And closer!!
These pictures were taken on my cell phone so they aren't that great. This was when the sub was almost right in front of us. It looks farther away in the picture than it really was. Can you believe Ryan was on the sub at that moment?! How crazy!!
Here is the USS Wyoming's symbol
The Disaster That Is My Home
Ryan and I were finally settled in until Thursday when the movers came with the rest of our stuff. We're so happy to have all of our stuff but man, we don't know what to do with it all!!
This is just the stuff the movers put in the kitchen. There's about that much more in each of the bedrooms that still needs to be unpacked. Yikes
Mack's Life the Past Couple of Days
What a rough life for this little man. Here are some of his favorite things to do lately.
He takes one of his toys back there to chew on. He loves lying there but he gets in trouble for it.
Mack is loving all of the packing paper from the movers! He's in heaven barking at it all and rolling in it!
Tuckered out from a long day of unpacking
Oh Heck No
Mack and I stumbled across this on the back porch... a huge centipede!! I am sick of all of these GINORMOUS Florida bugs!!
The picture is blurry because the nasty thing was moving super fast!

Sandy Paws
Mack and I enjoyed another nice evening at the beach tonight...and then a bath :)
The little spikey man after his bath
He was cold so he let me hold him like this all wrapped up. As a matter of fact, he's still wrapped up right this second sleeping on my lap :)
Whaaat??
Mack and I walked out of the front door and stumbled upon the most GI-gantic cricket I've ever seen! (At least I think its a cricket ??) It was literally the size of my palm and about 2 inches tall! If I ever see something like this in my home I'm leaving!!
P.S. In this picture the camera was NOT on zoom!

Chillin With My Gnomie
Nora and I went shopping the other day at this amazing outdoor mall. They had a Fossil store so of course I had to go in there! I found some new charms that I hadn't seen before and I got two of them, including Mr. Gnomie. According to folklore, gnomes bring good luck and good fortune. Hopefully this gnome will bring Ryan and I good fortune :)

Mack's New Friends
Last night Mack and I were invited to dinner at Christen's. Mack got to meet Blaze, Alex, and Flynn and he had such a big time! He slept for 9 hours straight last night!

He stayed close to Dad at first
And he didn't know what to think...

And he met a mermaid
