Growing Boy!

Here are some more pictures that show just how much our little Mack has grown. These pictures are from July, August, and September 2011.

Ouch

Well, my knee is very painful and very swollen. I don't really know why. It's been hurting a little lately but nothing out of the ordinary until today. I did some walking around today at Target but that was it. I hope it goes away soon!

Good Ol Roast

Roast, carrots, and potatoes = SUCCESS!!  I attempted my first roast today and it turned out really good!  It reminded me of my mom and home so much. Roast is her specialty :)

Mack's Big Day

Our little man lost his equipment today. I'm glad it's over because I was so sad seeing his wittle sad eyes. Here are some sweeter pictures from when I picked him up. He was so happy to see me!

My New Halloween Decorations!

After I was sad about having no fall decorations, my sweet Grands and wonderful husband decided to help me out.  I'm spoiled :) I never really pictured myself wanting to go crazy with decorations for the different seasons but I am! Mom and Grands, when I come home we are going to The Thicket and I'm stocking up! :)

In the picture above you can see Fracula (one of my very favorites from my mom) and the cute vintage pumpkin picture that Christen got me in Pensylvania as a thank you.

I put my little acorn from Grands in with these decorative balls. This usually sits on our dining table as the centerpiece, but now I have it in the glass part of the entertainment center. The acorn really shines in the light!

Here's the fall wreath Ryan got me. I think it's so pretty and I love the colors. The wreath looks so weird to me with the shells though! And, it seems weird having all of these fall decorations out now since it's still in the high 80s or low 90s most days!

So Fresh and So Clean

Mack Attack has a big day ahead of him tomorrow...his surgery :( To prepare, he enjoyed a nice bath today after his walk on the beach.  Now he's fresh and handsome for his doctor!!

Mack's Day on the Town

Mack enjoyed a nice Saturday afternoon in downtown Fernandina with his mommy and daddy.  We all stopped for some coffee :)  He also got to enjoy an evening ride to Taco Bell where he rode in the back seat like such a big boy!

I think it looks like he has a tiny cape on in this picture! haha!

Pesky Swatter

Daddy and Mack have a new game...the fly swatter!!  Ryan chased Mack around the house last night with the fly swatter and it was hilarious!!

Mack's Visitors

Lately Mack has had a few visitors in his pond.  He's not happy with that either...

Mack spent the whole day barking nonstop at these two geese that were in the pond. It was cute at first but after about 2 hours, it was just ridiculous! He would sit at the door and bark but when the geese would move toward the house it scared him and he jumped up on the couch to bark.

Mommy's Boy

I Feel Bald!!

I got my hair cut yesterday!! I really like it but it's such a huge change!! I cut off 9 in!! Here are some pictures of the new do :)

I guess Mack thought he was stinky because he took it upon himself to get in the tub!

Smoke Advisory

I checked my weather app today and it showed a smoke advisory. I've never seen that before but sure enough, the sky is very smoky and smells very strongly of smoke. I believe it's because of the forest fires that are still occurring at Okenfenokee State Park.

The picture doesn't do justice at all. The whole sky looks like a big fog. You can kind of tell by looking at the distant trees in the background of this picture.

The Dog in the Mirror.....

The dog in the mirror drives Mack insane! Although, Mack does think the dog in the mirror is quite handsome.

Daddy Lovin

Little Man Update

Little Mack Hirsch is growing up so fast!! Here is a side by side comparison of how much he has changed in just 5 weeks!!

The BILL Burger!

Ryan grilled hamburgers for us one night while his parents were in town. They were very good......and very large! I appropriately named it The Bill Burger :)

Budweiser Brewmaster Tour

We treated Jon to a brewmaster tour of the Bedweiser Brewery for his birthday. It was a really interesting and fun experience!

One of the guys said this tile work cost around $2,000. They also said that the brewery doesn't get anything cool like this anymore because InBev won't spend the money. That's kind of sad.

The Hirsch's Come to Visit!!

Jon, Janet, and Megan flew in on September 2nd for a week long stay with us. We had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from their first beach trip. It was a good time even though it was cloudy that day.

The two pictures below are from the second beach trip we took. Megan had to leave before we got a chance to go back to the beach :( On this trip we all walked about 2 miles down the beach looking for shells. Janet and I came back to our chairs to sun bathe and read for a while. While the girls relaxed, the boys walked another 4 miles all the way down to the pier. They were pooped and sun burnt when they finally returned!! BUT, they did find a lot of sand dollars!!

Obviously a sun worshiper haha!
